Your Data
Zion Presenter works mostly on your own computer. Your announcements, photos, videos, Bibles and stage display designs are stored on your own device and never leave it. I don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers.
If you create an account. I keep the name, church, city, country and email address you give me, and your password in encrypted form (never as readable text). I use your email only to send you your verification code, your password recovery code and, if you ask me for help signing in, a link to choose a new password. When you sign in, I note your approximate city and country based on your IP address. For each device you sign in on, I keep its name, the app version, the browser and the IP address, so I can recognize your devices and protect your account.
What your account stores. While you are signed in, I keep your settings, your songs, your Sermon Mode designs and your service plans, so you have them on your other devices. For each song I keep only the current version. Photos and videos are not uploaded. I also note, each day, how long the app was open and which features you used in the Web version, only as numbers and never what you project, so I know which churches are still using Zion Presenter. I keep those numbers for 120 days.
What you project. In the Web version, what you project passes through my server to reach the network display, the phone remote and the musicians view. I hold it in memory only while you are using the room, and I forget it two hours after the last device disconnects. The Windows and Mac apps send it from your own computer.
Statistics. When you visit the site, download the app or open it, I record the platform, the version, your approximate city and country, your IP address and your browser. I keep only the most recent records, about a thousand of each kind. For each installed Windows or Mac app, I also keep its version, operating system, language, time zone and last IP address, so I know whether it needs an update. Daily counts, with no IP addresses or personal data, are kept for 120 days. I use them to know how many people use Zion Presenter and to improve it. If something fails in the app, on the Web or on desktop, I receive the error message, the file and line where it happened, the version and the operating system, but never what you project or your data. I keep each error for up to 30 days after it last occurs, so I can fix it.
Third-party services. I use third-party services to host my server, send emails and work out your approximate city; they receive only what they need for that. Some features you choose to use, such as online Bibles with your own key or stock backgrounds, request their content from those services.
Reviews and contact. If you write me a review, it is shown with the name, role and church you enter. If you contact me through social media or by email, I use your details only to reply to you.
Deleting your data. You can delete your account at any time from My account or from the account menu in the app. This deletes your account, your sessions and everything I kept from it. If you sign out on all your devices and 30 days go by without you signing in, I also delete it, together with everything I kept from it. Anything stored only on your device is deleted when you remove the app or clear your browser data.
If anything changes in how I use this information, I will update this page.
